If you’re aged 11-18, we have loads going on for you at Reading Family Church Youth.
We believe that God is an exciting, life changing and transforming God, who loves to make a difference in the world through young people. We want to see each young person build friendships, encounter the love of God, be encouraged, changed and equipped to impact their world by God’s power.
The Edge is our Friday night youth group for young people aged 11-18, which meets from 7pm – 9pm during term time. School friends are always welcome to come along.
We meet at the Reading Family Church office, 87 London Street, Reading, RG1 4QA, shown in the map below. Please access the office via East Street, where there is a car park to use when dropping off and picking up.
Across the term we have a range of different evenings including:
- ‘In-House’ – Fun activities and games
- ‘Girl / Guy’ – Separate boy / girl small groups with social activities and Bible discussion time
- ‘Encounter’ – Evenings set aside to worship God and hear a Bible-based talk.
- Socials – Social outings and events
Take a look at the attached term planner to see what’s going on this Friday.
We meet with the youth aged 11-16 during both of our normal Sunday morning services, which start at 9am and 11am. The youth will go out to their groups at about 9:35am and 11:35am at the end of the time of praise. Together we have some fun and take a deeper look at God’s word.
We meet at Reading Girls’ School, Northumberland Avenue, Reading, RG2 7PY. A map of this location can be found on the Reading Family Church Website.
